Eugene Gottesman – President and Founder

Eugene Gottesman President and FounderEugene Gottesman is an innovator. Prior to starting Gottesman Company in 1985, he founded New York Yellow Pages Inc., an independent yellow page and telephone directory, which he sold to Southwestern Bell Telephone Company (now AT&T). During that time, he served on the small business advisory boards for two New York State Governors and wrote a weekly business column for the New York Post called Business Advisor and even had a cable TV show called the New York Business Forum. Gene was also an instructor at NYC where he taught “How to Start and Run Your Own Small Business”. 

Gene is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business – University of Pennsylvania. He holds a BS in Economics with and accounting major. He is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma Business School Honorary Society, a licensed New York State Real Estate Broker, and a Lifetime CBI (Certified Business Intermediary) with the IBBA (International Business Brokers Association).
