Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Rehab Facilities
A large publicly traded post-acute provider is divesting its portfolio of 10+ operating rehabilitation therapy facilities, all with highly experienced and licensed personnel. These leased full service rehabilitation facilities were acquired as part of a larger long-term care transaction in 2015 and are now being divested. These facilities are located in Texas and Pennsylvania. This is a distressed business opportunity!
Individual Facility financial data is available upon request.
The breakdown of services for the PA facilities is: 83% Physical Therapy; 13% Occupational Therapy; 4% Speech Therapy. The breakdown of services for the for the TX facilities is: 18% Physical Therapy; 37% Occupational Therapy; 45% Speech Therapy.
While preference will be given to a buyer acquiring all the sites, the Seller will seriously entertain proposals to acquire any subset of these 10+ facilities. This opportunity is best suited as an Add-On to an existing rehab company where backroom services and management can be merged and shared.
While Valuation is always important, the Seller’s preference is for a strong Buyer who can close quickly.
